Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Multitude no. 6 by Sadegh Tirafkan was sold in the Art Contemporain Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2021. The price achieved of EUR 3,780.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sadegh Tirafkan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work From The Series A Nightmare of An Era Hammurabi: The Law Codes in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 37,000.00 (€ 23,766.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Multitude no. 6 von Sadegh Tirafkan wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Art Contemporain Day Sale bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.780,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sadegh Tirafkan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit From The Series A Nightmare of An Era Hammurabi: The Law Codes im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.000,00 (€ 23.766,70).
