In April 2011 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art, which included the work Multitude N.#4 by Sadegh Tirafkan. The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,750.00 (€ 12,650.97), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Sadegh Tirafkan have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 37,000.00 (€ 23,766.70) in April 2008 for the work From The Series A Nightmare of An Era Hammurabi: The Law Codes.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im April 2011 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Multitude N.#4 von Sadegh Tirafkan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 12.650,97) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Sadegh Tirafkan haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.000,00 (€ 23.766,70) im April 2008 für die Arbeit From The Series A Nightmare of An Era Hammurabi: The Law Codes beobachtet.
