The work Untitled (Portrait) by Sadanand Bakre was auctioned at Sothebys in Mumbai in November 2019. It achieved a price of INR 750,000.00 (€ 9,460.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sadanand Bakre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2018 with an auction result of INR 18,750,000.00 (€ 236,796.79).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Portrait) von Sadanand Bakre kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in Mumbai zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von INR 750.000,00 (€ 9.460,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sadanand Bakre erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von INR 18.750.000,00 (€ 236.796,79).
