Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Sadanand Bakre was sold in the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Bonhams in London in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 8,925.00 (€ 10,342.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sadanand Bakre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2018 with an auction result of INR 18,750,000.00 (€ 236,796.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Sadanand Bakre wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.925,00 (€ 10.342,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sadanand Bakre erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von INR 18.750.000,00 (€ 236.796,79).
