The work Red Shoe by Sadanand Bakre was sold in the Boundless: India auction at Sothebys in Mumbai in November 2019. The »bidding war« ended at INR 2,000,000.00 (€ 25,229.15), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Sadanand Bakre have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2018 with an auction result of INR 18,750,000.00 (€ 236,796.79).

Die Arbeit Red Shoe von Sadanand Bakre wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Boundless: India bei Sothebys in Mumbai versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von INR 2.000.000,00 (€ 25.229,15) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sadanand Bakre auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von INR 18.750.000,00 (€ 236.796,79).
