The work 1968 by Sadaharu Horio was sold in the Boundless: Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 6,478.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sadaharu Horio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work 68.B in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 69,348.90).

Die Arbeit 1968 von Sadaharu Horio wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Boundless: Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 6.478,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sadaharu Horio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work 68.B im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 69.348,90).
