Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rural Visions by Sabry Mansour was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online auction at Bonhams in September this year. The price achieved of GBP 3,840.00 (€ 3,840.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sabry Mansour - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tears of the Pyramid, which sold at auction in May this year for GBP 12,800.00 (€ 14,892.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rural Visions von Sabry Mansour wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.840,00 (€ 3.840,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Sabry Mansour mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tears of the Pyramid beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für GBP 12.800,00 (€ 14.892,89) versteigert wurde.
