Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIThe Finale, which included the work Arous El-Nil (Bride of the Nile) by Sabry Mansour. The price achieved of GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,774.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Sabry Mansour have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May this year the work Tears of the Pyramid was auctioned for GBP 12,800.00 (€ 14,892.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIThe Finale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arous El-Nil (Bride of the Nile) von Sabry Mansour zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.750,00 (€ 14.774,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Sabry Mansour konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai diesen Jahres die Arbeit Tears of the Pyramid für GBP 12.800,00 (€ 14.892,89) versteigert.
