Despite a disappointment, a good price for Sabine Herrmann
This work of art by Sabine Herrmann could be acquired at Ketterer in Munich in July 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art, Kunst nach 45 und Alte Meister auction, the work Among the cynics changed hands for EUR 67.00 - failing to meet the pre-set estimate of EUR 70.00. The estimated price for the artwork was previously set by the auction house at EUR 70.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 67.00 could thus just exceed the estimate. Despite this disappointing result, Among the cynics is the most expensive artwork by Sabine Herrmann that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Sabine Herrmann
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sabine Herrmann konnte im Juli 2007 bei Ketterer in München für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art, Kunst nach 45 und Alte Meister wechselte die Arbeit Among the cynics für EUR 67,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von EUR 70,00. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 70,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 67,00 konnte den diesen somit knapp übertreffen. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Among the cynics das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sabine Herrmann, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
