Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work A figure behind the wall by S. Teddy Darmawan. The price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,142.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 48,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by S. Teddy Darmawan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Three men on the stairs was auctioned for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 12,348.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A figure behind the wall von S. Teddy Darmawan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.142,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 48.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von S. Teddy Darmawan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2008 die Arbeit Three men on the stairs für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 12.348,97) versteigert.
