Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June last year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Important Spring Sale, which included the work "Yvonne, fille de Bretonne" by Ruth Milles. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 22,000.00 (€ 2,032.09). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ruth Milles - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woman in the wind, which sold at auction in December 2017 for SEK 46,000.00 (€ 4,679.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Important Spring Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Yvonne, fille de Bretonne" von Ruth Milles zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 22.000,00 (€ 2.032,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ruth Milles mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Woman in the wind beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für SEK 46.000,00 (€ 4.679,59) versteigert wurde.
