Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Frank Sinatra, 2002 by Russell Young was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 9,562.50 (€ 8,259.91) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Russell Young have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mick Jagger + red lips / Reggie Kray, Do You Know My Name in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 43,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Frank Sinatra, 2002 von Russell Young kam im September 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 9.562,50 (€ 8.259,91) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Russell Young auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mick Jagger + red lips / Reggie Kray, Do You Know My Name im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 43.750,00.
