Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Upacara di Bali (Celebration in Bali) by Rusli for HKD 18,750.00 (€ 2,200.06). This price was achieved in the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rusli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Festival In Bali in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 36,708.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Upacara di Bali (Celebration in Bali) von Rusli für HKD 18.750,00 (€ 2.200,06) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rusli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Festival In Bali im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 36.708,31).
