Sold at the upper estimate price
In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Temple Scene by Rusli. The auction ended at the price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,925.45), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rusli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Festival In Bali, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 36,708.31).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Temple Scene von Rusli zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.925,45) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rusli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Festival In Bali beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 36.708,31) versteigert wurde.
