In October 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale, which included the work Pasar Di Bali (Market In Bali) by Rusli. The result of HKD 90,000.00 (€ 9,905.56) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 90,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rusli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Festival In Bali, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 36,708.31).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pasar Di Bali (Market In Bali) von Rusli zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 90.000,00 (€ 9.905,56) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 90.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rusli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Festival In Bali beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 36.708,31) versteigert wurde.
