It achieved a price of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 15,545.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rusli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Festival In Bali, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 36,708.31).

Die Arbeit Temple with Barong von Rusli kam im November 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 15.545,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Für andere Arbeiten von Rusli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Festival In Bali beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 36.708,31) versteigert wurde.
