Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Sajen Di Pura (Temple In Sajen) by Rusli. The price achieved of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 16,729.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rusli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Festival In Bali, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 36,708.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sajen Di Pura (Temple In Sajen) von Rusli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 16.729,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rusli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Festival In Bali beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 36.708,31) versteigert wurde.
