Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ibu Dan Anak (Mother And Child) by Rusli was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 35,000.00 (€ 3,321.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rusli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Festival In Bali in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 36,708.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ibu Dan Anak (Mother And Child) von Rusli kam im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 3.321,32) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rusli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Festival In Bali im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 36.708,31).
