A top price for Ruggero Savinio - as previously expected
The work Malinconia by Ruggero Savinio was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2007. The price achieved of EUR 12,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Malinconia is the most expensive artwork by Ruggero Savinio that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Malinconia von Ruggero Savinio kam im November 2007 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Malinconia das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ruggero Savinio, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
