Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2006 Christies in Milan held the auction Modern Pictures, which included the work Malinconia (Rovine) by Ruggero Savinio. The price achieved of EUR 6,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ruggero Savinio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Malinconia, which sold at auction in November 2007 for EUR 12,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Modern Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Malinconia (Rovine) von Ruggero Savinio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ruggero Savinio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Malinconia beobachtet, die im November 2007 für EUR 12.800,00 versteigert wurde.
