Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Rudy Royval could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Muerto de Hambre changed hands for USD 62.50 (€ 50.75) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rudy Royval - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (nude with stars); and two companion drawings, which sold at auction in July 2012 for USD 250.00 (€ 203.00).
