In June 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction 20th Century British & Irish Art, which included the work Le Bateaux De Cangas by Rudolph Ihlee. The result of GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,671.11) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,800.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rudolph Ihlee - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Palmier à Collioure, which sold at auction in March 2021 for EUR 9,450.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Bateaux De Cangas von Rudolph Ihlee zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.671,11) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.800,00 – 2.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rudolph Ihlee mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Palmier à Collioure beobachtet, die im März 2021 für EUR 9.450,00 versteigert wurde.
