This artwork by Rudolf Schick achieved an unexpectedly high price at Grisebach in October 2018. In the Auktionen Oktober 2018 - Sammlung Bernd Schultz I auction, the work „Geburtstag“. sold for EUR 2,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rudolf Schick; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot „Scirocco-Wetter“. sold at auction in November 2015 with the realized price of EUR 4,000.00.

In der Auktion Auktionen Oktober 2018 - Sammlung Bernd Schultz I wurde die Arbeit „Geburtstag“. für EUR 2.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Rudolf Schick; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit „Scirocco-Wetter“. im November 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 4.000,00.
