Sold at the upper estimate price
In November 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale Day Session, which included the work You Haven't Talked to Me in Years by Rubén Torres Llorca. The auction ended at the price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 6,808.28), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Other works by Rubén Torres Llorca have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October this year the work Nosotros, los de entonces, ya no somos los mismos was auctioned for USD 8,190.00 (€ 7,749.81).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im November 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale Day Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit You Haven't Talked to Me in Years von Rubén Torres Llorca zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 6.808,28) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Rubén Torres Llorca konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres die Arbeit Nosotros, los de entonces, ya no somos los mismos für USD 8.190,00 (€ 7.749,81) versteigert.
