Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Rubén Torres Llorca could be acquired at Christies in New York in January 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Cuentame Tus Miserias changed hands for USD 500.00 (€ 390.50) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rubén Torres Llorca achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nosotros, los de entonces, ya no somos los mismos in October this year with an auction result of USD 8,190.00 (€ 7,749.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rubén Torres Llorca konnte im Januar 2009 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Cuentame Tus Miserias für USD 500,00 (€ 390,50) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rubén Torres Llorca erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nosotros, los de entonces, ya no somos los mismos im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 7.749,81).
