Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Views of the Mountains by Ru Yi was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2017. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,639.72) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Ru Yi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2014 the work Prosperous Clouds was auctioned for HKD 161,000.00 (€ 14,974.04).

Die Arbeit Views of the Mountains von Ru Yi kam im September 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.639,72) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Ru Yi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2014 die Arbeit Prosperous Clouds für HKD 161.000,00 (€ 14.974,04) versteigert.
