Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pale Rocks Amidst Clouds and Mountains by Ru Yi was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2017. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,348.94) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ru Yi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Prosperous Clouds, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 161,000.00 (€ 14,974.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pale Rocks Amidst Clouds and Mountains von Ru Yi kam im September 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.348,94) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ru Yi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Prosperous Clouds beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 161.000,00 (€ 14.974,04) versteigert wurde.
