A top price for Ru Yi
The work Prosperous Clouds by Ru Yi was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings II - New Chinese Ink Paintings auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2014. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 161,000.00 (€ 14,974.04). With this result, Prosperous Clouds is even the most expensive work of art by Ru Yi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Prosperous Clouds von Ru Yi wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings II - New Chinese Ink Paintings bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 161.000,00 (€ 14.974,04) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Prosperous Clouds sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ru Yi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
