In October 2003 Christies in London held the auction At Home-British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper, which included the work The Upper Pool from Tower Bridge by Roy Perry. The price achieved of GBP 2,585.00 (€ 3,775.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Upper Pool from Tower Bridge is the most expensive artwork by Roy Perry that we have observed at auctions so far.
