Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 881.25 (€ 1,287.15). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roy Perry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Upper Pool from Tower Bridge, which sold at auction in October 2003 for GBP 2,585.00 (€ 3,775.63).

Die Arbeit The Pool of London with the Tower beyond von Roy Perry kam im Oktober 2003 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 881,25 (€ 1.287,15) einen neuen Besitzer.
