The work Vers le non où by Katayoun Rouhi was auctioned at Christies in Paris in November 2010. The auction ended at the price of EUR 4,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Katayoun Rouhi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ut Poesis Pictura (As Is Painting, So Is Poetry) in December 2010 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,956.82).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Vers le non où von Katayoun Rouhi kam im November 2010 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 4.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Katayoun Rouhi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ut Poesis Pictura (As Is Painting, So Is Poetry) im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 16.956,82).
