The work Sans titre by Rotraut was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 10,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rotraut achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 225,000.00 (€ 192,802.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Rotraut kam im Juni 2021 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 10.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rotraut erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 192.802,06).
