Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Body paint designs associated with the Water Dreaming at Kalipinypa), 1999 by Ronnie Tjampitjinpa was sold in the The Serra Collection of Aboriginal Art including property from various vendors auction at Bonhams in Sydney in July 2020. The price achieved of AUD 5,856.00 (€ 4,973.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ronnie Tjampitjinpa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tingari Ceremonies At The Site Of Pintjun in December 2019 with an auction result of USD 243,750.00 (€ 217,110.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Body paint designs associated with the Water Dreaming at Kalipinypa), 1999 von Ronnie Tjampitjinpa wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion The Serra Collection of Aboriginal Art including property from various vendors bei Bonhams in Sydney versteigert.
