Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work River Landscape in Blue-green Manner by Rong Zuchun was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 1,800.00 – 2,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 1,785.00 (€ 1,577.13). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rong Zuchun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sketches in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 153,400.00 (€ 16,186.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit River Landscape in Blue-green Manner von Rong Zuchun im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.800,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 1.785,00 (€ 1.577,13) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rong Zuchun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sketches im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 153.400,00 (€ 16.186,15).
