The work Landscape by Rong Zuchun was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in New York in September 2013. It achieved a price of USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,031.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Admittedly, works by Rong Zuchun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sketches in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 153,400.00 (€ 16,186.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Rong Zuchun wurde im September 2013 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.031,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rong Zuchun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sketches im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 153.400,00 (€ 16.186,15).
