It achieved a price of HKD 68,440.00 (€ 8,339.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 71%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rong Zuchun; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sketches sold at auction in April 2018 with the realized price of HKD 153,400.00 (€ 16,186.15).
