Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Rong Geng was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2015. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,909.66) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Rong Geng have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2017 the work Scholar Fishing was auctioned for HKD 141,600.00 (€ 16,168.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Rong Geng wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.909,66) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Rong Geng konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2017 die Arbeit Scholar Fishing für HKD 141.600,00 (€ 16.168,81) versteigert.
