Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work SPELLBOUND by Ronald Ventura. The price achieved of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 83,776.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 550,000.00 – 750,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ronald Ventura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Party Animal in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 19,450,000.00 (€ 2,056,015.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit SPELLBOUND von Ronald Ventura zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 83.776,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 550.000,00 – 750.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ronald Ventura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Party Animal im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 19.450.000,00 (€ 2.056.015,25).
