The work Filter by Ronald Ventura was sold in the 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale auction at Christies in January last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,297.52), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ronald Ventura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Party Animal in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 19,450,000.00 (€ 2,056,015.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Filter von Ronald Ventura wurde im Januar letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale bei Christies versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.297,52) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ronald Ventura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Party Animal im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 19.450.000,00 (€ 2.056.015,25).
