Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ronald Ossory Dunlop achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in July 2021. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Self-Portrait sold for GBP 4,080.00 (€ 4,784.65) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ronald Ossory Dunlop - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work London In The Rain, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 10,501.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ronald Ossory Dunlop erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Self-Portrait für GBP 4.080,00 (€ 4.784,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ronald Ossory Dunlop mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit London In The Rain beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 10.501,94) versteigert wurde.
