The work A Village Street by Ronald Ossory Dunlop was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in July last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,218.06), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ronald Ossory Dunlop have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work London In The Rain in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 10,501.94).

Die Arbeit A Village Street von Ronald Ossory Dunlop wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.218,06) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ronald Ossory Dunlop auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit London In The Rain im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 10.501,94).
