Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chasing After You by Ronald Caringal was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2010. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,642.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ronald Caringal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Art Gasm in July 2021 with an auction result of HKD 201,600.00 (€ 21,852.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chasing After You von Ronald Caringal wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.642,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ronald Caringal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Art Gasm im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 201.600,00 (€ 21.852,46).
