Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Artgasm by Ronald Caringal was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. The price achieved of HKD 52,500.00 (€ 4,848.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 45,000.00 – 65,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ronald Caringal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Art Gasm in July 2021 with an auction result of HKD 201,600.00 (€ 21,852.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Artgasm von Ronald Caringal wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 52.500,00 (€ 4.848,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 45.000,00 – 65.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ronald Caringal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Art Gasm im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 201.600,00 (€ 21.852,46).
