Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Mobile Minotaur by Ron Cooper. The price achieved of USD 1,000.00 (€ 771.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ron Cooper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Lamps: Earl McGrath in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,931.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mobile Minotaur von Ron Cooper zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.000,00 (€ 771,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ron Cooper erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Lamps: Earl McGrath im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.931,76).
