Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Polish/French group Of Four Posters: Che Sì (1967), The Prisoner (1962), Lenin (1969) And L'Art De L'Affiche En Pologne (1974) by Roman Cieślewicz for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,500.41). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary East at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roman Cieślewicz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Polish/French cassius Clay, which sold at auction in June 2016 for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,701.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Polish/French group Of Four Posters: Che Sì (1967), The Prisoner (1962), Lenin (1969) And L'Art De L'Affiche En Pologne (1974) von Roman Cieślewicz für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.500,41) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary East bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Roman Cieślewicz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Polish/French cassius Clay beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.701,55) versteigert wurde.
