Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Roman Cieślewicz could be acquired at Sothebys in London in June 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary East auction, the work Polish/French portrait-Robot De La Poésie changed hands for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,850.78) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Roman Cieślewicz have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2016 by the work Polish/French cassius Clay at GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,701.55).
