Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Roland Oudot could be acquired at Christies in London in March 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work The farmyard changed hands for GBP 375.00 (€ 404.38) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roland Oudot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage d'Arcadie in May 2004 with an auction result of EUR 12,925.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Roland Oudot konnte im März 2009 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit The farmyard für GBP 375,00 (€ 404,38) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roland Oudot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage d'Arcadie im Mai 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.925,00.
