Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dans La Plaine: Trees In A Field by Roland Oudot was sold in the The House Sale auction at Christies in New York in December 2007. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,375.00 (€ 941.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roland Oudot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage d'Arcadie in May 2004 with an auction result of EUR 12,925.00.

Die Arbeit Dans La Plaine: Trees In A Field von Roland Oudot wurde im Dezember 2007 in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.375,00 (€ 941,59) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roland Oudot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage d'Arcadie im Mai 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.925,00.
