Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Roger Selchow was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 336.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roger Selchow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, which sold at auction in March 2007 for EUR 720.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Roger Selchow kam im März 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 336,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Roger Selchow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition beobachtet, die im März 2007 für EUR 720,00 versteigert wurde.
