In February 2013 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Study For 'Early Chores' by Roger Medearis. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,212.25), 63% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roger Medearis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In The Big Rock Candy Mountains in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 106,250.00 (€ 94,604.22).

Im Februar 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study For 'Early Chores' von Roger Medearis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.212,25) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roger Medearis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In The Big Rock Candy Mountains im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 106.250,00 (€ 94.604,22).
